What is Cronmaster?

Cronmaster lets you view, create and delete cron jobs and the bash scripts they call from a browser instead of editing crontab by hand. Each job can log its output, exit code and timing, and long-running jobs stream their logs live. A dashboard shows uptime, memory, CPU and GPU usage, and login works with a password or single sign-on through OIDC. Everything runs from one Docker container.

Good fit if

  • You manage cron on a home server or a few machines and want history and logs in one place.
  • You want presets that translate schedules into plain language.

Look elsewhere if

  • You need jobs across many servers from one interface: Cronicle.
  • You need dependencies between steps: Dagu.

Before you adopt it

Cronmaster is AGPL-3.0, with nothing behind a paywall. It is young, first released in August 2025, and one developer wrote almost all of it. Its Docker setup runs as root in privileged mode to edit the host's crontab, so treat its login like root access to the server.
